A graduate of Alta High School, Jennifer grew up in the Salt Lake valley. She received a broadcast journalism degree from Brigham Young University, where she reported, anchored, and produced the university's daily cable newscast, and also worked as a reporter for Park City Television. Jennifer completed several internships including one at ABC's newsmagazine program '20/20' and Primetime in New York City. Upon graduation from BYU, Jennifer joined WHBF-TV (CBS) in Rock Island, Illinois as a general assignment news reporter. After a year, she moved across the Mississippi River to KGAN-TV (CBS) in Cedar Rapids and KDSM (FOX) in Des Moines as weekend anchor and weekday reporter. Before entering the field of journalism, Jennifer worked as a professional dancer and NBA Cheerleader for the Utah Jazz. Jennifer is happy to be back in her home state, working at the station she grew up watching. She and her husband, Jonathan, love living near the mountains and enjoy all the outdoor activities Utah has to offer. When she's not working, you'll find Jennifer training for her next race, going to dinner with her husband, or babysitting her nephews. She is currently training for the Salt Lake Marathon for the second year in a row and choreographing routines for dance teams around the state.
