The 3 P's of Music (and Life): Passion Patience Persistence
Passion patience and persistence has not only helped Andrew through school and with music, but it has also helped him through his mission and through life. Applying these principles will help us to achieve our goals and follow President Hinckley's teachings to do our very best. Andrew performs his hymn arrangements and compositions while he talks about overcoming obstacles and achieving goals.
  • Fireside Performance which includes the following musical numbers: “If You Could Hie To Kolob”, “Eye of the Prophet” (mix of “Eye of the Tiger” and “Follow the Prophet”) and “I Need Thee Every Hour”
Christmas Celebrations
Andrew shares what it's like to live Christmas in the Philippines, Guatemala, and Brazil. Each culture has their own traditions, but there are also many things shared throughout cultures. He supplements his exotic Christmas stories with his high-energy Christmas arrangements.
  • Fireside Performance which includes the following musical numbers: “We Three Kings,” “Carol of the Bells,” “Santa Claus Light my Fire (a parody on “Jingle Bells,”) and “Santa Claus is Coming to town”

Passion patience and persistence has not only helped Andrew through school and with music, but it has also helped him through life. Applying these principles will help us to achieve our goals and have success in life. Andrew plays a mix of pop, video game, and classical music, and adds in his compositions while he talks about overcoming obstacles and achieving goals.
  • College, High School performance including the following musical numbers: “Viva La Vida,” “Mario Brothers,” and “Lost” (an original composition)
The importance of Music and Education
This is a fun packed musical assembly where Andrew Braithwaite and Michael Green (both have a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance) help kids develop a passion and an interest for music.
  • Middle School and Elementary Performance including student participation and performances of fun songs like “Mario Brothers,” “Flight of the Bumblebee,” and the Bugs Bunny song (Hungarian Rhapsody #2)

Bio

Andrew Braithwaite has lived in Venezuela, Chile, the Philippines, and yes, even Houston, Texas. He has given many firesides of his hymn arrangements and compositions in the Houston area, and has also performed in Guatemala, Brazil, and Chile. He performs every year for the Salt Lake Family Christmas Gift Show and the Festival of Trees and regularly performs for hospitals and rest homes. He teaches piano lessons and enjoys helping kids develop a passion for music.
